TACTICAL BUILDING SEARCH: 100 Points

In this scenario, a K-9 team will enter a building or hallway and will be required to move from one point to another as quietly, quickly and tactically as possible. Between the two points, there will be a large amount of debris that the team must negotiate. This may require the handler to carry his/her dog over, crawl under or go around the items to move from point to point. Approximately half way into the scenario, a suspect in a bite suit will become visible to the team. once the team reaches the second point, the dog will be sent for a bite. Points will be deducted each time the suspect hears the team advancing.

The team will be judged on the handler's tactics, his/her ability to keep the dog under control and quiet and how they negotiate the obstacles.

This will be a timed event. Because this event takes place in a controlled environment, we are unable to showcase this competition.
